The quilt was inspired by the colours and themes in Claude Monet’s paintings of his garden at Giverny, including more wildlife than is normally seen in his work. It is made of cotton and silk embroidered with Madeira and Natesh threads and cotton wadding Commissioned and presented by Poldrate Quilters, Haddington, East Lothian.

“Kingfishers Catch Fire, Dragonflies Draw Flame”，字譯「翠鳥著火，蜻蜓劃焰火」，命名可能跟維多利亞時代之英籍詩人Gerard Manley Hopkins有關。
拼圖過程
有一陣子沒拼WW，突然覺得拼片厚度變薄了。側邊平整，不像之前有些微剝皮的情況，整體品質好。
先挑特殊片出來擺拍，發現有些破碎、看不出圖型的拼片。
納悶之餘決定先拼圖，過程中露出端倪，原來是有”組合技”啊
這盒木拼有點難度，刀模設計成同心圓，中心點的特殊片為『禽抓魚』。
